Get a device that employs toner instead. For personal computer printing purposes ink stinks.

Canon MP150 Service Error 5100?
Dec 17th
Question by Mike: Canon MP150 Service Error 5100?
Hi there! My dad recently hooked up a continuous ink supply system to my Canon MP150 printer. Now when I print, I frequently get error messages, specifically, Service Error 5100. Can anyone tell me how to fix this without taking my printer apart? Thanks. Oh, and don’t tell me fixes that only work in Windows XP or Vista or 2000, or Me… because I use Windows 7. Thanks.
PS: My continuous ink supply system is basically a giant bottle of ink with a tube coming out of it, which is hooked up to a hole in the cartridge that my dad drilled in there.

wide format printers?
Aug 12th
Question by art_flood: wide format printers?
I am looking to buy a wide format printer so that I can print and sell art I do on the computer. People have suggested the 24″ epson 7880 to me, bu that’s like a $ 3000 machine. I’ve seen HP Designjets like 36″ on ebay for like $ 100 or less but people don’t know if they work or not of what the printing is like.
I would like to use a continuous ink system if possible.
I’m trying to get the best printer I can for the least money since money is an issue here but it’s more important that the prints look great.
Thanks

iP1980 service error 6000?
Aug 12th
Question by mybunnyranaway: iP1980 service error 6000?
good day. we have a printer (iP1980) with a continuous ink system. then the service error 6000 occurred it doesn’t print anymore. it creates a buzzing sound inside. sounds like there’s a problem with the rollers or something it’s our second time to encounter this problem, our second canon continuous ink printer actually. both printers didn’t last for a year. please reply. thank you very much.
Best answer:
Answer by james
Hello, the error gets displayed when 1 of 2 events occur:
1.) Paper jam
2.) General malfunction
Since you indicate buzzing in the rollers, there may be pieces of paper or dust in between the rollers. Listen to where the buzzing sound might be coming from and take a good look there.
Try to reset the printer to release memory code errors.
1. Press Resume button hold for 1 – 2 minutes
2. Open the cover
3. Remove the cartridge and then put it in again.
4. Close The Cover
5. Turn Off
6. then Turn On again
Hope this help you.

Epson TX110, Canon MP198 or HP F4280?

Question by Dave: Epson TX110, Canon MP198 or HP F4280?
I’m planning to put a Continuous Ink System also there. Which one should I buy?

I don’t know mcuh about any of this printers. But after THREE Epson, TWO HPs, and THREE Canons (in 5 years) the Canon’s are the only survivors. All working.
I refill cartridges like a mother fucker. No shit son. I don’t pay for that fucking expensive ass plastic and ink.
With the Canon’s, when it gets clogged, you can rip out the removeable print head, jsut run from HOT h2o thru it, and shit will be good as fucking new. and then with the canon you can release the ink monitoring so that you can refill freely – if you are continuous what do you have to worry!
With the Epson’s, it got clogged and it just passed the fuck out. One Epson 740, Epson c62 and c88+ – all dead.
HP? Fuck them. They sell shitty laptops and shitty printers.
Stick with Canon.
